John Michael Montgomery Partners with TIME LIFE for COUNTRY MUSIC EXPLOSION
Nashville, TN- Stringtown Records’ John
Michael Montgomery is co-hosting the infomercial promoting TIME LIFE’S new
country music CD Box Set – COUNTRY MUSIC EXPLOSION that began airing nationwide
April 24. The new CD compilation features 160 songs from some of country
music’s current superstars such as Kenny Chesney, Carrie Underwood, Sugarland,
Brad Paisley, George Strait, Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, Craig Morgan, Tim
McGraw, Faith Hill and others as well as three hits, “I Can Love You Like that”,
“I Swear” and “I Love The Way You Love Me,” from Montgomery himself. The
infomercial was filmed at The Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville.
“I was
honored when the folks from TIME LIFE called me and asked me to be part of this
new project. This company is an icon in American history and I’m excited to be
part of their continuing musical legacy,” says Montgomery.
The new
infomercial is currently airing on
network and cable channels in
the US and
Canada. “John Michael has been such
a big part of the growth of country music so we were thirlled that he agreed to
host our show,” said TIME LIFE Executive Producer Alan
Rubens.
John
Michael Montgomery’s current release on Stringtown Records is called TIME FLIES
and a new single from that CD will be released to radio this summer. John
Michael will also be joining other country music stars at this years CMA Music
Festival held in downtown Nashville, TN
